Dr. Masri (academically published as Mahmoud Almasri, MD) is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon whose practice is strongly focused on disorders of the hip in young and active patients, alongside arthroscopic shoulder care. He completed dual fellowship training — hip preservation surgery at McMaster University under Dr. Olufemi Ayeni, and orthopaedic sports medicine at the Cincinnati SportsMedicine and Noyes Knee Institute under Dr. Frank Noyes.
He directs the Mercy Health Hip Preservation Center, a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, non-operative specialists, radiologists, rehabilitation staff and research personnel, and serves on the faculty of the Cincinnati SportsMedicine Research and Education Foundation fellowship.
He treats professional and collegiate athletes alongside dancers, runners, and active professionals, and coordinates directly with performance staff and physical therapists through every phase of return to sport. He speaks English, French and Arabic.
